@TROVE2021 @1stChoiceElect1 the ECS is a skills card and a h&s p***port for getting onsite. The JIB are a body that facilities the agreement set out by the unions (representing workers) and electricial companies. They do more than just issue cards.

I and another individual have an almost similar issue with them and commented on their instagram page. It's amazing that the comments have been deleted. What is @trovefinance hiding? Are they now a scam?

@1stChoiceElect1 @vitaelectrical @TROVE2021 Well, they give driving licences out to pretty much anyone and that's for life, not a single recheck or test. Sparky licences and limiting supply of goods has to be way down the list after that?
Besides, I'm not qualified or registered, I wouldn't be able to buy anything either!

@vitaelectrical @TROVE2021 Nonsense. I buy boilers and boiler spares no issues. What you will struggle with is manufacturer support if you are not Gas Safe, buying stuff though... no problem.

@TROVE2021 @vitaelectrical I understand the training/competency issue here but just because you own a home it doesn’t mean people have money for maintenance issues. I remember being shown at school how to wire a plug so why not extend to a socket outlet. It may actually spark an interest in the trade 🤷🏼♂️
