Also I imagine it puts you in a weird place for the review. It's not really fair to review it right now, but also, how long should you wait? There's no guarantee Funi will ever fix this for streaming or at least do so in anything like a timely manner.

@KickTheBeckett @Funimation Where certain scenes in the original Japanese broadcast were of such low quality they were literally inaudible and impossible to understand. It seems like the subtitles were based on that version and just didn't bother trying to sub the broken scenes-

It's been two days now, and the subtitles for Magia Record are still borked when I try to watch the season finale on @Funimation, no matter which browser or app I use. Is anyone else still having this issue, and if so, is there a fix for it?

@someguy7783 @EmperorBigD It’s funny that Japan decided to remaster Z into Kai because not only did it give them a chance to redo the scratchy sounding audio in the country but it also gave Funimation the opportunity to go back and fix all of the dub script mistakes they made.

Atm, BC is on chapter 307 so technically they could do another 12 episodes but those 37 chapters are so action heavy it would mostly be fillers again

Note that this issue occurs for both of Funimation's browser web video players (the old Brightcove one and new one), and does not occur for the Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil) language subtitles.

Okay, seems other than the subs being at the bottom (still need to see how positional subs are handled right now), the weird audio/language selection issue seems to be resolved for FUNimation's player.
As noted by a friend, they're also using a traditional ad-provider now too.
