CenturyLink offers internet, television, phone and home security services. Television service is offered through satelite provider DirecTV or over the internet (IPTV) under the Prism TV brand. CenturyLink serves homes and businesses in 37 states. CenturyLink has previoulsy acquired Embarq (2009), Qwest (2010), Savvis (2012) and Level3 Communications (2017). Is it up or down? There was one glorious year in Portland when I was able to get @CenturyLink fiber. 1 gig up/down is a ****uva drug. More importantly, it was consistent.
I still get ads from them, emails taunting me that it's available here. But they're all lies 😭

Started with an outage for only my apartment, to 5 apartments have an outage to every Centurylink customer in my complex has an outage. How do you NOT understand this is affecting multiple customers

@CenturyLink might have the worst internet service in the country. Being told it could take 24 hrs to have internet restored due to a power outage…except there have been no reported power outages in my area in over a month

.@CenturyLink is terrible on all fronts. Horrid internet connection, garbage speeds, customer service that can't or is unwilling to help (who also lie about outages & callbacks), & tech support unable to get a tech dispatched for a week (even while admitting it's their issue).

Hey @CenturyLink it’s nice that you send a monthly reminder email a week before my autopay date, but it would also be helpful if you email me when you shut down my Internet connection because your single attempt to bill my card failed due to a problem on your end.

@DavidAStorm I’m hearing anecdotal reports of CenturyLink, Verizon, and AT&T outages from around the county, which points to a backhaul failure. But I’m not clear on the geographic limits of the outage.

Regarding the earlier statement on the Lumen(CenturyLink) 911 outage, the original alert was sent in error. Pitt County Emergency Management has placed test calls and all lines are working. For information, please call Emergency Management at 252-902-3050.

@CenturyLink We have had non stop issues with the internet going down, then up, down, then up. FOR 6 DAYS, and nobody seems to care at CL, since employees can't set appts properly, and we now have to wait until Friday since our Wed appt was never finalized by CL employee. NOT HAPPY

@CenturyLinkHome Had centurylink for over 2 years and was told my area was fiber, come to find out that it wasn't fiber at all and paid $80/month for 50 down and 5 up.... Glad I switched away and just got fiber actually installed by someone else.

I have complained and complained to @CenturyLink begging to fix my internet. They **** me off and tell me too bad deal with it because they know there is no other provider in my area that I could switch to. Well finally things have changed, and CenturyLink can suck it forever.

@bigwanger12 I had the same problem back then when it comes to buying new games on the ps4. I will always have to wait an entire day just to play a single game. That's how bad our internet was but now today it takes just a few minutes. We had CenturyLink but we upgraded to Spectrum
